Creative Graphic Design and Visual Communications Student
My name is Emma Wood, and I attend Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. I'm a member of the graduating class of 2023. At Ursinus, I'm a prominent member of the Varsity Women's Lacrosse team as a 2021-22 Team Captain and Leadership Council Member, design editor for the student newspaper (The Grizzly), and hold multiple design jobs on campus. I'm the first Visual Communications major at Ursinus College, as I created the curriculum through the college's Self-initiated major program. I was born and raised right outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and earned my diploma from The Academy of Notre Dame in Villanova, PA. I'm mostly self-taught in studio art and graphic design and always looking for more opportunities to enhance my skills. I'm proficient in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and InDesign, as well as wire framing tools such as Canva and Sketch. I'm a determined, creative, and hard-working student who is team-oriented and always willing to learn new skills.
